In-Room Equipment Rental Damage Policy
Renters are responsible for any damage, loss, or excessive wear to rented equipment, which includes cymbals, microphones, guitar amps, and other instruments, beyond normal use. "Normal use" covers minor scratches or scuffs that do not affect performance.
All rented equipment is for use within the designated rehearsal room only and is strictly prohibited from leaving the premises. Moving equipment outside the booked room without permission may result in immediate forfeiture of the damage deposit.
A refundable deposit may be required for certain high-value equipment. The deposit amount varies depending on the equipment, generally ranging from $10 to $50. This deposit will be returned following an inspection after the session, provided no damage is found.
Staff will inspect rented equipment before and after each booking. Renters are encouraged to review the equipment’s condition at the start of their session and notify staff immediately of any pre-existing damage.
For minor repair needs, a fee may be deducted from the deposit to cover cleaning or minor restoration.Significant Damage or Loss: Renters are liable for the cost of repair for significant damage. If repair is impractical, the renter may be responsible for replacement costs.
Renters must handle equipment responsibly, keeping it free from food, liquids, and other substances that may cause damage.
Equipment modifications or adjustments beyond normal settings (e.g., altering microphone settings or amp configurations beyond safe limits) are prohibited and may result in additional fees.
