Heartbroken, but not beaten

It’s hard to even find the words. A few weeks ago, my shop was broken into. The thieves were bold; they rammed the gate, cut through the locks, and smashed their way inside. They took cameras, lenses, music gear, computers, company checks and personal items. They even went through the drawers and shelves looking for anything of value. It was ruthless.

I’ve spent years building this place. Every piece of equipment collected carefully, tested, restored, and put to work so musicians could have a place to rehearse, record, or just talk shop. Thousands of hours went into it, and in one night, so much of that was wiped away.

Of course, there’s insurance, but how do you calculate the loss of time, heart, and passion? This was never just a business, it was a space built for musicians, by a musician. I’ve been blessed to share it with so many great people who came through those doors, made noise, laughed, and inspired each other.

For now, the shop is closed permanently, at least until I can find a safer location. I’ll still be offering rentals and rebuilding what was lost, one piece at a time. Thank you to everyone who’s reached out, offered help, or simply shared kind words. Your support means the world.
